Penataran Sasih Temple is an old temple that is before spreading Hinduism to Bali. Sashi means "Moon" in an Indonesian language. "Moon of Pejeng" who is the god of the moon is supplied. Moon of Pejeng is a relic to be very worthy historically. This is an ancient relic in the 3rd century at B.C., and Ancient relic that represents Bronze Age of Southeast Asia. And, this is a drum of the bronze of the world's largest class. The size of "Moon of Pejeng" is 160 cm in the diameter, and 186 cm in height. There is elephant's statue in the entrance of the temple. It is a lot also in the temple. However, the reason with a lot of statues of the elephant is not deciphered. Small temple that can be seen in about 10 minutes.
